HR Assistant – Cannock
37 hours per week, permanent contract
Grade D (SCP 14 – 18) £17,681 - £18,870 per annum.
Stafford Borough Council is looking to recruit 2 HR Assistants, one with a primary workplace in Stafford and the second in Cannock. The ability to work at both sites may be required as part of the delivery of a Shared Service for Stafford Borough and Cannock Chase District Councils.
You will need to need to demonstrate good organisational and communication skills and a commitment to delivering good customer service. Applicants will need to be able to undertake a wide range of activities including recruitment, project work, use of a range of IT systems, and providing basic advice of guidance. Each post has a slightly different emphasis on the needs of their individual base. Previous HR experience would be beneficial but we would welcome applicants with an interest in HR.
We are a relatively small team with big aspirations and desire to make a difference. Flexibility, attention to detail and commitment are key attributes which we are looking for.
