Level 3 Job Coach

Actual Starting Salary £15,127 plus SEN allowance £1,174 dependent on years’ service based on 32.5 hours per week, term time only

We require a job coach to provide tailored support to young people to enable them to gain, learn from, develop in and maintain their supported internship and to make a positive progression on to paid, sustainable employment. The role will also support employers to enable them to offer a meaningful internship that will work for them in their setting and suit the needs of the interns.

Level 3 Parent and Community Worker

We require a Parent and Community Worker to support students on our STRIVE and THRIVE programmes at the Hive College.  The role will include identifying activities that meet the student’s individual needs and desires within their own communities and also sourcing opportunities for supported employment and volunteering roles.

Our students are delightful, work hard and are keen to learn and the college is a very happy and positive working environment.  We have a comprehensive induction programme and friendly and very supportive staff along with excellent facilities and a superb environment to support teaching and learning. OFSTED describe us as an ‘Outstanding’ school ‘in every respect’.  We constantly strive for excellence, seeking innovative and collaborative ways of delivering the curriculum and therefore any person appointed will be a highly committed and enthusiastic professional.

Successful applicants will be employed by Wilson Stuart School but will be working at The Hive where the 19-25 programmes are based. All the above posts are covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for these roles.
