St Michael’s CE Academy, part of the Birmingham Diocese Academy Trust (BDAT) are seeking to appoint an Office Administrator to join our friendly team. We are seeking someone who can provide administrative support to a high standard within the School and applications are invited from enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated individuals who wish to join the St Michael’s team.
We are looking for someone with excellent inter-personal skills and with a flexible approach to providing a high quality service. Experience of working with people in a similar role, understanding of safeguarding procedures and the ability to work calmly under pressure will be essential for this post.
Duties will include:
• Dealing with telephone calls, taking messages and greeting visitors
• Dealing with queries from parents, pupils and visitors to the school
• Managing incoming and outgoing post, word processing, filing, photocopying and various other clerical duties
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and, therefore, the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for the role.
