Warwickshire County Council's Adult and Community Learning Service provide a wide range of adult learning courses across the county. We are developing our provision for learners who have learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties and looking for new tutors to join our pool of dedicated teachers.

The Role

Casual hours, term time only (35 weeks per annum)

We are looking for tutors to teach the following subjects: maths, English, photography and horticulture. It is an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with learners with learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties. You will need to have an innovative approach to teaching your subject and experience of working with learners with a range of disabilities. Successful applicants will be required to work in a variety of locations across the county.

Key Requirements

Successful candidates are likely to be experienced teachers of adults (in a formal and informal setting)
with a sound knowledge of how adults learn and the range of approaches that can be used to support them. You must be
committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and to supporting the rights and aspirations of under-represented groups.
