SOCIAL WORKER - CARE PLANNING & COURT TEAM
Salary: £30,756.00 - £35,229.00 per annum

Following a restructure of our Families First Service, we have now developed a vibrant and highly motivated Care Planning and Court Service. The Service engages with children between the ages of 0-12 and creates inspirational plans which enables opportunities and empowers our children to achieve in all areas.
We are large team of highly dedicated Social Workers who support each other in the day to day task of ensuring we reach the best outcomes for our children in a timely manner. We are also supported by a team of skilled Family Support Workers who assist in facilitating contacts and undertaking direct work.
Candidates will be able to manage a complex caseload of Looked After Children and Care Proceedings and must have knowledge of Public Law Outline procedures and Care Planning Regulations for Looked After Children. Candidates will be expected to have researched and acquired a basic knowledge prior to attending for interview and would be expected to have at least 12-months experience in Children’s Services.
Candidates will be expected to be team players. The ability to engage and communicate with children is essential and the successful applicant will be committed to ensuring the children on their case load receive the best quality service.
