Learning and Organisation Development Adviser

Herefordshire Council are looking for an experienced learning and organisation development person to join them to work on a range of projects including improving our management development offer, continuous improvement programme, recruitment to key roles and new ways of working.
The role will involve the whole process from identifying business issues through to design, delivery, evaluation and, of course, continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have a background in learning and development and possibly experience in organisation change. They will be able to demonstrate the ability to build relationships and influence managers. They will also have experience of working collaboratively with people within the HR/OD function and in service areas.
Most importantly they will show a genuine understanding and commitment to the personal and professional development of people across a diverse range of service areas. The role requires the ability to work flexibly depending on the demands at any point in time.
A learning and development or HR qualification or equivalent experience is an essential for application.
