The Governing Body is looking to appoint a number of well-qualified, hard-working and enthusiastic Trades

People on a supply contract with:
 experience of working in building maintenance,
 good customer service skills and attention to detail
 excellent communication skills
 a reliable, flexible approach and a can-do attitude
 has excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
 self-motivated and a good team player
 qualifications and experience in plumbing, and/or electrics and/or general building would be
an advantage

The successful candidates will be accountable to the Site Manager and work closely with the Business

Manager. To ensure that the required standards are met, you must:

 be familiar with health and safety regulations address any issues in a timely manner
 apply a ‘value for money’ approach to ensure that jobs are carried out in the most costeffective
 be available to open up and close down the site, if necessary
 be available to work at weekends and outside school hours; including willingness to attend
school in the event of site emergencies
 be able to take on any other relevant duties as commensurate with the grade in order to
ensure the smooth running of the school
 The ability to work under pressure, deliver innovative solutions and proactively resolve day-today
operational issues
 Be a competent trades person
