Student Engagement Programme Team works with challenging and vulnerable learners across Telford and Wrekin, supporting them back into education and school. We work from five non-school based sites to support the needs of the learners referred from schools.

Our ethos is based around supporting the learner to access education in a conducive environment to their needs and supporting them in accessing mainstream or Post 16 education. Social, Emotional Health and Mental Well-being is at the forefront of the support we give to learners, their families and schools.

This advert is for a temporary post within the Student Engagement Programme Team.

The post is Term time only.

The Teaching Assistants within our team work with teachers and tutors to deliver the wide and varied curriculum on offer to our learners. Teaching assistants are responsible for the management of the classroom space, supporting learners with challenging behaviour and helping planning, delivery, assessment, marking and reporting on a range of NOCN vocational units.
Teaching assistants both deliver and support sessions within our learning environments.
