We are looking for a Customer Services Advisor to join the CEWS (Community Equipment and Wheelchair Services).

In this rewarding role, you will assist in the provision of wheelchairs, specialist items and other community equipment in a timely and responsive manner to meet the needs of individuals, their families and carers, thereby supporting individuals to live independently, help them recover quickly from illness and improve their quality of life.

Located in the newly built Better Living Centre in Bickenhill, Solihull, you will be responsible for processing referrals and repair requests, as well as ordering stock and responding to general requests and enquiries on behalf of the CEWS.

You will have either a Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject such as Business Administration, Customer Services or similar, or you will be able to demonstrate significant work experience in a customer services role.

You will also have:

  • The ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrate excellent initiative, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of dealing with challenging or distressed customers
  • Experience of using Microsoft Word packages Word, Excel and Outlook as well as experience of using a range of databases
