We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Social Worker to join our Learning Disability Service within Warwickshire. The team is currently based in Warwick and Bedworth and consists of Social Care Practitioners, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.
The post is a permanent appointment.
You will have a varied caseload. You will support customers to meet their assessed outcomes and maximise their independence by utilising community resources and universal services. You will be committed to the promotion of best practice and quality interventions with our customers, carers, partners and stakeholders. As a strong team player, you will be required to contribute to the development and promotion of the Learning Disability Service.
You will be flexible, innovative and have an up to date knowledge and experience of legislation and policies in the social care arena. You will have experience of working with a wide range of people, including people with Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with physical disabilities, mental health; carers and their families and other customer groups.
