Public Protection Support Officer - Secondment Opportunity – 12 Months

£18,870 per annum


37 hours per week

Public Protection are offering a secondment opportunity for an enthusiastic, Public Protection Support Officer to assist with the extra work that will be generated by HMO licensing.

Applicants should be well versed in providing the first point of contact to members of the public, customers and internal enquiries, and be able to deal with enquiries regarding service provision

A major task of this role is to input, maintain and analyse data on appropriate computer systems to support the HMO licensing function, but also provide some resilience to the existing support team. Therefore the applicant should be willing to administer finance systems and manage administrative and support procedures.

A good working knowledge of private rented sector housing would be of great benefit.

GCSEs including English Language and Maths or NVQ Level II Business Administration or equivalent.

Knowledge of Council procedures and processes as they relate to the services supported;

Proficient in the use of a PC, MS Office professional and related software.
