About the Role:
We are looking to appoint a lunchtime supervisor to join our lunchtime supervisory team. The post involves the 1:1 supervision of a child with Special Educational Needs. They should have a real passion for working with children, relate well to staff, act responsibly and be able to keep calm and respond quickly to situations.
Duties include escorting the pupil to and from the school dining room. Supervision of a child before, during and after the meal. In case of injury or illness provide basic first aid for minor injuries.
You will support the pupil by assisting them with their table manners and use of cutlery, and assisting with the cutting of meat etc. where appropriate. Engage effectively with the pupil to ensure their personal and social needs are met during the school lunch break.
