The Governors of Valley Primary School would like to invite applications from experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated qualified Learning Support Assistants.

Valley Primary School is a three form entry school run across two sites, with approaching 700 pupils.

The primary focus of this role will be to support a child in Year 1 with additional needs, including learning delay to access learning opportunities as appropriate to the child's stage of development

The person will support the work of the Inclusion Team and will initially be based at the infant site to support a Year 1 child. The post is a part position, 27.5 hours per week (in the first instance)

He/she will:

. Thoroughly enjoy working with SEN children

. Have a clear commitment to the ethos of the school

. Be hardworking and highly motivated

. Be calm, friendly, approachable, adaptable, positive and resilient and have the ability to build strong relationships with Pupils, Staff, Parents and the wider community
