30.0 Hours per Week
We would like to appoint a dedicated and professional Caretaker. The ability to work on your own initiative and have excellent organisational skills are essential, as is flexibility and a sense of pride in your work. You should want to be part of the school team; be able to relate well to both pupils and adults and demonstrate a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
Working hours are 7.30am to 10am and 2.30pm to 6pm (negotiable) plus out of hours lettings as required.
Primarily, the successful candidate would support the school’s catholic ethos and be responsible for:
- managing health and safety of the site
- improvement, maintenance and cleanliness of the school
- supervising cleaning staff
- undertaking out of hours school lettings in accordance with lettings procedure
A good range of skills and experience including building maintenance, general DIY and cleaning are required, along with knowledge of health and safety, computer skills and experience of supervising staff.
