AAT LEVEL 3 APPRENTICESHIP      

The apprenticeship will be fixed term 18 month placement, to allow the apprentice to achieve AAT level 3 as a minimum, on £3.70 per hour, paid monthly. After the first 12 months of the apprenticeship the apprentice will be entitled to the minimum wage for their age.

                                                                                         

THE SCHOOL

Hadley Learning Community (HLC) is a £70 million school that opened in September 2006 in Telford, Shropshire. The campus consists of a primary, secondary and special school housed within a very unique all through school. The school is fully inclusive and the secondary school is a specialist Engineering College.

        

 

 

 

                                                                                                                                           

THE PERSON

This is an exciting opportunity for persons aged 16 and over. We are looking for a passionate, dynamic, ambitious and energetic individual to support our finance department in day to day duties whilst combining a valuable nationally recognised AAT level 3 qualification along with skills and practical experience.

THE ROLE

The duties of the post are varied and will alter as the apprentice develops in the work environment to reflect the gains in their experience and knowledge.

Apprentice placements are for 16 plus year olds who will, through appropriate training and development, provide financial support within their team.

A training programme will give a broad understanding and knowledge about the services provided by the team and will enable the individual to gain a range of financial skills.

They will work under the direction/instruction of senior finance staff to provide routine general financial support to the school.

THE QUALIFICATION

The tasks you will be doing in your day to day work will support your AAT qualification. You will receive support and guidance in building a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your competence in the workplace.
