Level 2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our existing team from 1st October 2018 (can be flexible if notice period required).
Hours: 20 per week, Term-time only working 39 weeks per year.
The purpose of this post is to assist with and contribute to the management of the teaching and learning of children within Years 1 to 6 alongside and under the direction and guidance of the class teacher.
The post holder is required to work in collaboration with professional colleagues, including other support staff through; appropriate high quality teaching activities with groups of pupils, the use of assessment strategies to inform learning and teaching and to be an excellent role model for our pupils by demonstrating qualities of compassion, fairness and politeness.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, therefore the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check.
