(Saturday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and
two five hour shifts Mon to Fri)

Tamworth Borough Council’s customer service centre is at the heart of our council services and we are looking for two enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals who would like to join our busy team.
Each day brings a different challenge; you will need to be a great team player and confident communicator.
Carrying out front line facing duties, telephone or digital methods such as web chat, email, social media, you will take ownership and answer a wide range of enquiries relating to council services, council tax, housing benefits, street scene, tourist information and signposting to partner agencies where necessary ensuring our customers receive excellent customer service.
Excellent customer service skills and computer literacy is essential as well as being able to embrace new ways of working and technologies whilst promoting our digital services and supporting our customers with their online journey. You will need the ability to work under pressure and deal with challenging situations in a sensitive manner using your own initiative.
