We are seeking to recruit a HR Adviser based within the Operational & Traded Services Team.

Hours: 30 per week (Monday – Friday)

Salary: Grade 8 (£27,088 – £29,614 pro rata) – Actual Salary £21,963 - £24,011

Location: Regent House, King Street, Dudley

Fixed Term: Until 31st March 2019

We are seeking to recruit a HR Adviser based within the Operational & Traded Services Team. This role will include working with all levels of managers and employees on a wide range of HR and employment related policies, ensuring consistency of approach and the correct application of employment legislation, national and local agreements and terms and conditions of employment.

The core purpose of this short term post is to support the development and implementation of HR policies for the Traded Services. The role may also involve supporting both Directorate and School managers with case work such as disciplinary, grievance, absence, recruitment, performance management and redeployment matters and answering enquiries from employees on a variety of HR matters.

You must be CIPD Level 5 qualified and be able to demonstrate post qualifying HR experience, including policy writing. You will have a proven track record in all aspects of HR operational support and need a thorough knowledge of employment legislation and experience of interpreting this to support the business.
