Dudley Council’s Housing Services have got a number of opportunities to develop professional skills, knowledge and confidence and an opportunity to gain a recognised qualification through its Construction Trainee Programme. The trainees will follow a structured programme of up to 5 years, supported by a nominated mentor.

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: Grade 4 (£17,681 to £18,672)
This is a fixed term contract for up to five years depending on existing qualifications.
Dudley MBCs Construction/Surveying programme will provide you with an exciting alternative to full-time education and create an opportunity for you to gain valuable work experience, skills and qualifications with one of the largest employers in the area.
As a trainee, you will develop a wide range of skills to prepare you for your future career. Once you have learnt the basics you will be given the opportunity to gain more responsibility, putting new skills into practice.
Up to 4 opportunities are available and we are looking to appoint candidates who are keen to develop a career within the construction and asset management sector, in either construction management or surveying, in a structured programme up to 5 years in duration subject to existing qualifications.
This will include on the job learning across Dudley Council's social housing stock and formal training at college and University.
