G2 £8.54 per hour - These posts qualify for the Living Wage. The Council is committed to paying the Living Wage which is currently £8.75 per hour. This arrangement will be reviewed annually.
We require Recreation Assistants to work on a casual basis in a highly motivated team providing leisure facilities for the local community. This will involve the setting up of equipment, preparing for functions, helping customers with their enquiries and assisting them in their participation of activities ensuring their safety at all times, and general cleaning duties.
Applicants should have experience in the service industry and hold a recognised lifesaving award, as well as being available to work days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
This vacancy will remain online until we appoint to all posts. Interviews will be arranged for shortlisted candidates on an ongoing basis.
