National Minimum Wage for Age
Aged 25 and over = £7.83 per hour
21 to 24 = £7.38 per hour
18 to 20 = £5.90 per hour
under 18 = £4.20 per hour

If so then we have a great opportunity for a Finance Apprentice to gain skills, experience and knowledge in a busy finance service whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
As an apprentice you will:

- study towards a related qualification
Finance is a highly skilled profession, with staff working at many different levels. Our aim is to support individuals to work toward an Association of Accounting Technicians qualification whilst providing an opportunity to gain the job related skills required in support of this.
The post is for a fixed term of 18 months, and will be paid for 37 hours per week (which would be split between working in the office and attending an AAT training provider to undertake training), in addition costs relating to the provision of the training will be met by Walsall Council.
We are looking for a motivated individual willing to undertake an Assistant Accountant Level 3 apprenticeship, with 5 GCSE’s (including Maths and English), and a level 2 Accounting Technician or equivalent, or relevant experience of working in a finance environment.
