The HR Advisory Team provide HR advice across Warwickshire County Council on employment related matters as well as advice on equality, diversity and inclusion, in support of the corporate outcomes and the promotion and embedding of equality into all County Council activity.
In this role you'll support the team and learn from all they do, enabling you to become a real HR professional! To support our customers, who quite simply could be anyone across the whole of the Council's workforce, you'll provide information, advice and guidance on simple casework, applying local policies and procedures where needed. By shadowing and working with fellow HR Advisors, you'll learn on the job how to handle often delicate employee matters and all the work you do will enable you to complete the Level 5 HR Consultant/Partner apprenticeship, included in which is the CIPD diploma in HR Management.
Fixed term contract for 2 years
Apprenticeship Pay Scale from 1 April 2018:
Point 3 = £14,247.88 per annum
Point 4 = £15,116.66 per annum – completed 12 months and aged 25+
Another important requirement is that you are able to travel to work location. Travel to work is not something that we can support you with, so please consider how you will get to work each day before applying.
