This is an exciting opportunity to join our Housing with Care Team. To assist and support the Unit Manager and in the overall management and administration of a Housing with Care scheme, supervising and working with a group of staff deploying resources that meet the needs of tenants through person centred service delivery. This position is 37 hours temporary for 12 months, internal candidates will be on a secondment basis.

We are looking for individuals who really care about people in their Community and want to enable and empower people to live independently. To support the aims and objectives of the unit as outlined in the Statement of Purpose.

To assist Tenants in maintaining their independence and achieving their outcomes and contributing to the prevention of unnecessary admissions to hospital.

Post holders will be accountable for carrying out all duties and responsibilities with due regard to the City Council's Equal Opportunities Policy. Duties which include processing of any personal data must be undertaken within the corporate data protection guidelines.

Previous experience of working in Health or Social Care Setting is essential. The applicant must possess good organizational and communication skills and have the ability to manage a diverse team to ensure all care practices are delivered in a person centered way.

Rota management will be a key aspect of the role and the candidate will need to monitor and have a good awareness of financial procedures.

Working Pattern
37 hours weekly working shifts between 7am and 10pm including weekends
