Do you fancy a challenge and have an interest in innovative ways of working? if so this might be the job for you.

Breathing Space is a project within Families First supporting women who are pregnant, who have previously had one or more children removed and care leavers who are pregnant with their first child and are likely to be subject to safeguarding concerns.

The project also supports families with children aged 0-5 where there is a plan for children to return to the care of their parents or family members.

The service is based around a model of intensive one-to-one key work over a sustained period targeted to meet the specific needs of the client.

The key worker will then be responsible for working with parents to develop a tailored package of support, drawing in and coordinating other resources within the team as appropriate. The key worker will also support the parents to identify and engage with any relevant external support services as required e.g. domestic abuse support services, housing providers etc.

The project co-ordinator would be required to undertake the day to day management of the project, ensuring effective case allocation, supervision and performance management.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of shaping, initiating and managing effective service delivery.

Interviews will be held 13 September 2018 in Stafford time and Venue to be confirmed.
