Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a Pupil with additional needs  

Grade 2 SCP 10-13 part time 30 hours per week 

Are you looking for a new challenge? 

Halesowen C of E Primary School is looking for a learning support assistant who is passionate about always putting the needs of children first. We are looking for someone to support a wonderful young man who is on the autistic spectrum to achieve his potential every day in Year 6. This role would suit someone who is looking for a wonderful experience to enhance their future career chances as it is only for one year as the child leaves us for senior school next year.  

We are looking for: 

  • Someone who is hardworking and determined, with a passion for supporting children with SEND 
  • A person who puts the needs of our children first and supports our children and families within our strong Christian ethos. 
  • Has experience of working within key stage 2. 
  • Supports and promotes excellent behaviour. 
  • Has experience of working with children on the autistic spectrum. 
  • Understands how to move children’s learning on within a lesson and understands how to support a child on a one to one basis. 
  • Is willing to learn new things; reflecting and developing at all times.  
  • Is prepared to be challenged every day but looks forward to making a difference to the lives of our fantastic young people.
