Working Pattern

You will be working carrying out functional assessment and therapy intervent with services users to maintain independence and to prevent the need for long term support. You will be working in a small team with other Occupational Therapist’s, Social Workers’s, a Broker and providers to promote individuals independence with Activities of Daily Living in a community setting.

You’ll need:

To be Qualified Registered Occupational Therapist with 2 years post qualifying experience in health and/or social care setting, with knowledge and skills in:

• working with adults and older people in a physical settings
• functional assessment, therapy intervention and service provision
• disability equipment and minor adaptations
• manual handling
• understanding of social care provision

You will be working within a promoting independence team with other OT’s SW’s, a Broker and care providers. The team is lead and supported by a team lead and is regarded as a valued service within adult social care.
