The successful candidates will share our ambition to improve outcomes for Looked After Children.

The idea candidate will also have a good level of experience in delivering development programmes within a Children’s Services setting and will have knowledge of public sector services and practice, experience of change management, and the ability to develop positive relationships with people from a number of different organisations.

The Regional Practice Development Officers will support the development of a Regional Permanency arrangement, through the North Midlands Regional Adoption & Permanency Partnership, and will take a specific lead in relation to practice Development across the partnership.

The successful candidates will be based in Stafford with the Children’s Commissioning Development Team (Staffordshire County Council) but will be required to work across Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. The County Council also operates an agile-working scheme.
