JOB TITLE: Workforce Development Lead

Salary: £36,153.00 – £39,961.00 per annum (Grade 10)

37 Hours per week – Fixed Term for up to 6 months

Workforce Development Lead Grade 10 (Qualified Social Worker) – Full time – Secondment Opportunity to cover (for up to 6 months)

We are seeking expressions of interest from an existing member of the Adult Social Care and Safeguarding /Commissioning service to cover for the position of Workforce Development Lead.

Whilst you will work as part of a team, you will be required to practice autonomously with an expectation that you will deliver against a challenging agenda and to support the Workforce Development Strategy. This key role will take responsibility for the direction and support of staff working across Older People, Mental Health, Physical and Learning Disabilities and as such we are seeking an experienced social work qualified practitioner with a range of knowledge and skills across this broad agenda. If you have a desire to support the Local authority in developing our approach to supporting our social care colleagues with an effective Workforce Development Plan, and other over-sights, this role could be for you.
