Are you looking for a new and exciting Business Apprentice opportunity? We have an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join us in a multi-agency team. Warwickshire’s Integrated Disability Service brings together services from the Local Authority and the NHS to support and complement the work of Early Years’ Settings and Schools.

The Role

Every day brings complex and exciting new challenges, our team support professionals from education and health to provide a range of services to support children and young people with additional needs and their families at home, school and in other settings.

You will gain a diverse range of valuable administration and ICT skills such as creating children’s resources, organising training, meeting & greeting families, and setting up training equipment. You will need good communication skills, as well as the ability to take on challenges and problem solve.

Fixed term contract for 18 months 

Apprenticeship Pay Scale from 1 April 2018: 

Point 1 = £155.40 per week, £4.20 per hour, £8,108.55 per annum – initial salary for all new starters for the first 12 months of the apprenticeship 

Progression of pay after 12 months are complete as follows: 

Point 2 = £218.30 per week, £5.90 per hour, £11,390.58 per annum - completed 12 months and aged 19 - 20 
Point 3 = £273.06 per week, £7.38 per hour, £14,247.88 per annum - completed 12 months and aged 21 – 24 
Point 4 = £289.71 per week, £7.83 per hour, £15,116.66 per annum – completed 12 months and aged 25+ 

Key Requirements

You'll have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet use, the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise with those software plus have a willingness to learn and develop new skills in this area. You'll also be a confident communicator who enjoys supporting others, plus be well organised and able to work under your own initiative.

This Apprenticeship will start in September, subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks. You must have completed/be about to complete full time education in order to apply.

The Training Provider for this apprenticeship is Heart of England Training. All training will be delivered in the workplace via both HOET and courses run by WCC.
