Library Assistant - Library Stock Services
22.5 hours per week
Fixed term contract until July 2019
Working closely to support the Senior Library Assistant at Library Stock Services, the post holder will participate in the ordering, receipting and processing of all stock and assist with delivery of the reading group service. The post holder will also liaise with suppliers and library staff to resolve queries. Manual handling is a key part of the role, including accepting deliveries and moving boxes. Mon - Off, Tues 09:00 - 17:00, Wed 09:00 - 17:00, Thu 09:00 - 17:00, Fri - Off
- 4 GCSE passes to include English and Maths.
- A systematic, methodical and accurate approach to work.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, in writing and on the telephone to a range of people.
- Experience of using ICT and also Windows-based computer packages.
