Family Support Worker
The Family Focus team are based in geographical areas across the county. Their role is to undertake parenting assessments, provide a supervised contact service (known as Family Time) for parents and children, as well as undertake direct work with families.
We work alongside the Children's Safeguarding and Support Service, supporting the work of Social Workers on specific cases.

We are recruiting a Family Support Worker, 37 hours per week based in Atherstone Council House, North Warwickshire.
The Family Support Worker will undertake a range of tasks across the team; this will include supervising family time, undertaking direct work to empower parents to make positive change. You may also have the opportunity to contribute to parenting assessments, which are primarily undertaken by the Social Workers within the Family Focus team.
37.0 Hours per Week

You will need to have good written skills and be competent in the basic use of IT. You will need to be able to communicate effectively to engage children and their families at an appropriate level.
