Located in West Coventry, Hereward College specialises in offering further education to students with Special Educational Needs from all over the country, along with young people from the local area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative thinker with a talent in both communications and marketing. The Marketing Officer will play a key role in raising awareness of the college’s activities and be instrumental in producing high quality digital content and marketing material to support student recruitment.
We are seeking a good team player who can portray a positive, 'can do' attitude, exceeding customer expectations. You should be highly organised and able to manage and prioritise your workload using your own initiative in a busy environment.
Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and outside agencies to ensure effective promotion of the college.
You should have experience in developing written publications and producing content relevant for websites, social media, press releases, newsletters and print material to a range of audiences.
You will have a good grasp of digital communication channels and concepts along with experience working with social and digital platforms.
A Level 2 qualification (GCSE Grade A – C) or equivalent in English and maths (or demonstration that you are operating at level 2 in both subjects) is essential.
