An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Warden Team for a highly motivated individual who can make a significant contribution to making Tamworth a safer and cleaner place.

We are looking for an individual who possess the skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of people. Good listening, communication, observational, problem solving and IT skills are essential, plus the ability to appropriately deal with conflict and challenging behaviour.

Working within the extended community safety partnership, an awareness of environmental crime and anti-social behaviour powers and legislation is required.

The successful candidate will be required to work a shift pattern including early mornings, weekends and evenings, working outdoors in all weather conditions.

The authority offers an excellent employment package with flexible working, health scheme, pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, nationality check, medical clearance and DBS check.
