Crestwood is a rapidly improving 11 - 16 mixed comprehensive with 700+ students on roll. We will be opening our 6th Form from September 2015. Results for students achieving 5A*-C grades including English and Mathematics and students gaining 5A*-C grades are consistently well above the national average.

This is an exciting time for Crestwood. We were recognised as being in the Top 50 Most Improved Secondary Schools Nationally in February 2014 and in the Top 20% of Schools Nationally for Outstanding Progress. We were graded “Good” in all areas by Ofsted in June 2014. Crestwood is a founder member of the INVICTUS Multi Academy Trust – a unique partnership with 3 other schools focused on raising standards and sharing good practice (effective from March 2015).

Hours: 10 per week (3.30pm to 5.30pm Monday - Friday)

Provide a general cleaning service to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building.

Clean designated areas as required to include Sixth form common room, computer suite, classroom, two offices and stairwell.  Maintain the safety and security of areas whilst being cleaned, ensure cupboards and stores are kept closed or locked when not in use Maintain a high standard of work and be familiar with the use of all cleaning machines Assist in maintaining a friendly atmosphere by acting in a polite and courteous manner.

• Evidence of practical experience of cleaning in a large establishment • Knowledge of cleaning equipment • Knowledge of how to use cleaning products • Awareness of Health and Safety • Able to work unsupervised • Able to work in a busy environment • Able to work as part of a team • Pleasant friendly personality • Required to wear a uniform that must be maintained to a high standard • A knowledge and commitment towards Safeguarding • Flexible approach to work necessary
