To maintain the cleanliness, overall appearance and good order of a designated Estate by ensuring specified work routines and maintenance activities are carried out including undertaking daily fore checks to high rise flats.
- Previous proven experience of working in a tradesman/caretaking role, within a public service or housing environment preferred;
- Basic manual skills to be able to perform routine technical tasks, e.g. carpentry, plumbing, painting;
- Cope in difficult situations, e.g. in circumstances where potential violence or drunkenness may be causing a problem;
- Basic standard of education, including literacy and numeracy.
