The Home Environment Assessment and Response Team (HEART) is a formal partnership across five local authorities and the county council. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is proud to be the hosting authority for this service which brings together the provision of housing adaptations, improvements and minor adaptations for ourselves and partner authorities.

We are currently recruiting for Housing Assessment Officers who will play a key role in the delivery of services within HEART. The role will involve completing assessments with residents in their own homes and offering solutions to include minor adaptations, provision of equipment or assistive technology. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate appropriate experience and have the ability to manage a varied and sometimes emotionally demanding case load that will cover the areas within HEART. Therefore, it is essential that candidates are willing and able to travel across Warwickshire.

The ideal candidate will share HEART’s commitment to continue to the improve services and ensure the focus is on delivering the right solution at the right time.
