Rehabilitation Worker (Visual Impairment)
This is an exciting opportunity to join Therapy Services team based at the Opal Centre. We currently have one Rehabilitation Worker vacancy within the therapy service area.
We are looking to recruit a Rehabilitation Worker who is enthusiastic and can build professional trusting relationships with service users their carers and other stakeholders. Confident in working closely with service users within the visual and hearing impairment team and managing a demanding case load. You will work with people with a visual impairment , hearing impairment or a dual sensory loss.
This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive team who focus on enabling individuals with visual and hearing impairments to achieve optimum control of their lives. We motivate and work with service users to devise and deliver appropriate individual rehabilitation programmes in daily living, orientation/mobility and communication.
Through assessment and intervention plans you will work with service user’s and carers in their own homes and in the community.
We are looking to recruit a qualified Rehabilitation Worker (Visual Impairment) who has the ability to seek out all relevant information, consider and think through issues and analyse the issues before deciding upon appropriate course action.
Monday - Thursday 8:30 to 5:00
Friday 8:30 to 4:30
37 hours a week.
