Sector Administrator

Salary Range: Grade 2; scp 11 – 24; £17,007 pro rata - £22,401 pro rata

Hours per week: 3 days per week, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

Work Pattern: Term time only

Location: James Brindley School, KS4 Teaching Centre, Bell Barn Road but may be required to work at other sites of the school.

James Brindley School is looking for an enthusiastic Administrator who is willing to develop and learn  and has experience in busy administration environment.

At James Brindley School, we provide education for children and young people whilst they are in hospital or are unable to attend their mainstream school due to medical conditions or special educational needs. We teach across 12 sites including teaching centres and hospitals in Birmingham. We also provide a home teaching service, designed to educate

pupils in their own homes.

You will have experience in general administration environment with experience of Microsoft Office packages using database applications. You will have experience of reception work and able to communicate effectively and accurately both verbally and in writing. You will have the ability to prepare confidential reports whilst having the ability to complete work to the required standards of accuracy and presentation.

You will have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of people and the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and prioritise workloads. The ability to perform diary management duties, minute take and arrange meetings and appointments are also essential along with a good standard

of education including A* - C in English and Mathematics or equivalent.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
