The Employment and Wellbeing Service have joined forces with “Improving Access to Psychological Therapies” (IAPT) Service which is delivered by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust and Coventry and Warwickshire Mind to develop an exciting partnership with the aim of increasing employment opportunities for young people experiencing common mental health difficulties in Coventry.

You will be responsible for sourcing and then working with employers to develop good quality sustainable employment opportunities which match the employment aspirations of the people you are supporting. You will also ensure that individuals and employers receive the appropriate support and guidance to succeed, linking with other professionals and services where appropriate.
You will need to be excellent at developing strong relationships, an effective communicator able to work with a wide range of people and crucially have the skills and ability to negotiate with employers across a wide range of sectors.
A key part of this role involves working with young people, families, professionals and employers to raise awareness and challenge the stigma and prejudices which prevents so many people from achieving their potential. If you are dynamic, able to use your initiative and believe that you have the drive and skills to be able to make a real difference to the lives of young people experiencing mental health difficulties then we want to hear from you.
