“Dudley Early Help: Building resilience, not reliance”
Dudley Council has the highest ambitions for our children, young people and families. Our vision is to give children the best start in life and to support families to be independent, responsible and successful ensuring we provide the highest levels of support for our most vulnerable children. Our workforce is key to making this happen.
Dudley has created an innovative service to support children and young people who are missing from home/care or education and children who are at risk of becoming Looked After. We have further enhanced this service by bringing the Education Investigation and Elective Home Education Services together.
Hours: 37 per week
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated practitioner to join the Management Team on our improvement journey as we seek to capture the voice of the child and modernise services for young people.
The position is based full time at the Adolescent Response Team (ART) which is part of Integrated Youth Services within the Family Solutions division.
The role involves the management oversight and support of a team of practitioners, who are undertaking investigations for non-school attendance and those who have chosen to educate their children at home.
