The Specialist Early Years Service is a team of teachers and teaching assistants working with children with special educational needs and disability from birth to full time school. We assess and teach children and support and train families and staff in early years settings.
Hours: 26 hours per week
Salary: Teachers pay range + SEN 2 + TLR 2a
Location: The Mere Education Centre
We are seeking an enthusiastic, excellent early years practitioner with substantial experience of working with children with SEND. The post involves working in early years settings and family homes within Dudley MBC.
Assessment, planning and teaching are important elements of the post, working to the requirements of the SEN Code of Practice and within the principles of Early Support. A commitment to partnership working with parents, therapists, early years practitioners and others is essential.
The post involves working for 4 days which can be flexible but will include one Friday afternoon every two weeks in term time.
