The School Asset Support Team in Solihull Council has oversight of all relevant processes related to the Schools landlord function including delivery of the Council’s Children’s Services Capital Programme, worth some £25 million of building improvements over a 3 year rolling programme, as well as the management of the Solihull Schools PFI Contract and related facilities and asset management duties.

As Team Administrator you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative, clerical and general support to the team, as well as direct support for the Service Manager in relation to his programme management duties.

In addition to your excellent core administrative skills, you will have experience and understanding of processes within a property management, financial or procurement environment. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and ideally have experience of working within an education focused environment. You will also be a good communicator, able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
