Salary G6 £22,180 - £26,208 per annum

Walsall Fostering Service recruits, trains, assesses and supports foster carers.  We have a track record of high quality service provision and are committed to achieving positive outcomes for all Walsall children in care. 

We are looking to employ a Recruitment & Promotions Worker in the Recruitment & Assessment Team who will devise and implement plans and promotional activity that will assist in the recruitment and retention of foster carers.  You will coordinate, develop and deliver recruitment activities and events.  There will be the opportunity for you to introduce new ideas and use your initiative.

We are looking for someone with an industry recognised marketing qualification and/or education to A level standard or equivalent.  You should be able to develop effective marketing and communications plans and activity, at both a strategic and tactical level and be able to evaluate and demonstrate the results.

You should be able to demonstrate knowledge and effective use of traditional, digital and new media channels, be able to organise and deliver public-facing events and be able to develop key messages and promotional copy for tailored campaigns.  You will work alongside social workers and foster carers and have well developed interpersonal, communication and networking skills.  You should be well organised and be able to work to deadlines.
