Gosford Community Hub is a day opportunity for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex needs. We are looking for 2 support assistants who are self motivated, compassionate and have an empathetic nature. Will you strive to get the most out of people and work tirelessly to bring fun to our service users all day ,in the centre and out in the community.

You will be committed to:
• Achieving meaningful and memorable days for our service users.
• Ensuring all support needs are met throughout the day.
• Creating opportunity and choice with dignity and respect.

You’ll need:
• Patience and persitance to find ways to communicate effectively with service users.
• A willingness to work alone with service users as well as with colleagues.
• Ability to carry out assessed manual handling, including hoisting and pushing wheelchairs.

(2 x up to 30 hours permanent)

(2x temporary 3 months 16 hours and up to 30 hours)

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:45 and 3:15 (hours may vary dependent on the post chosen)

Interview Date

Tuesday 9th October and Wednesday 11th October
