Merryfields is a generic special school for children aged 3-11 years in Wolstanton, Newcastle-under-Lyme. The role – Teaching Assistant General, Special School, Level 1
We require 2 x Teaching Assistants ASAP and no later than 1st October. You will be required to support the class teacher in areas such as preparing the room for lessons, support in managing pupil behaviour, undertake routine administrative tasks and supporting pupils in their everyday life. You should be a caring team player who will motivate and excite our children. You will have enthusiasm, drive and a commitment to school improvement. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders. You will be required to work across all classes and age groups within school. The role will also support all classes in lesson preparation i.e. making resources. Full details of the role are included in the job description and person specification.
