Working Pattern

You will provide support to the team in the provision of advice and guidance on Information Governance (IG) matters and Police Disclosure. You will be required to process requests for information from members of the public and or other Authorities/organisations, identifying and applying any applicable legislation in your decision making. In your daily management of administration of the IG function you will often be managing multiple tasks simultaneously, working to strict deadlines. The role requires strict confidentiality, as you will be handling sensitive personal data as standard.

You’ll need:

You will possess excellent administrative skills, have strong attention to detail and have highly developed organisational and communication skills with the ability to work on your own initiative. The protection and security of personal information is paramount, not only in what we do as an organisation but also in the advice we give as the IG function. Previous experience of handling information requests (FOI, Subject Access Requests, Police Disclosure or equivalent) or experience in another field related to meeting legislative requirements is desired.
