An opportunity has arisen for an experienced social work practitioner / manager to be part of the front-line operational management of adult safeguarding work in Warwickshire.
37.0 Hours per Week
You will be part of the countywide Adult Safeguarding service, working within the countywide adult safeguarding duty/intake processes and within the Warwickshire Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). You will have supervisory responsibilities for social workers within the team and support adult safeguarding work within the North & East Warwickshire Older People Team. Working closely with internal colleagues and partner agencies, you will be instrumental in delivering quality outcomes to adults who may be at risk of experiencing abuse or neglect.
The role is primarily operationally focused, but offers opportunities to take delegated responsibility for strategic and partnership work which may involve development work, working across agencies, and contributing to projects.
If you are an experienced social worker or social work manager with the interest, ability and skills to lead adult safeguarding work at the front-line, we want to hear from you.
Applicants should have experience of working with adults with care and support needs, and have the appropriate skills to manage and oversee Adult Safeguarding casework. A professional Social Work Qualification and current registration with the HCPC is required.
