16 hours per week (term time) 

This is a temporary fixed term appointment initially until July 2019

Grade: Level 4, Spinal Column Point 16 -21 Salary: £6674.90 - £7484.53 per annum. £9.50 - £10.65 per hour. Incremental progression subject to performance. 

4 hours daily- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Friday mornings from 9.00am, term time only. 

Required for 15th October 2018 or as soon as enhanced DBS and reference checks are complete. 

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Teaching Assistant, to provide support to a Y6 child who is in receipt of Education Health Care Plan. A minimum NVQ Level 2 in a relevant area of study is required. You will become part of our multicultural school, working within our dedicated and hardworking SEN team. Employment will be on a fixed term contract to support the child until they transfer to secondary school in July. The start date will be as soon as DBS enhanced clearance is given. 

All posts are term time only plus training days. Posts 2 and 3 could be combined and worked by the same person.

A dedicated, enthusiastic, highly motivated, positive individual with a desire to work with Special Needs children who can support our school ethos and who is not afraid of hard work! This person will be friendly, patient, approachable, cheerful and have a good sense of humour enabling them to build strong relationships with children, parents, staff and outside agencies involved with the child. 

The individual appointed will be part of the year group team and SEN team for the child and will need to be a flexible team member and be able to attend review meetings for the child they support.
