Health Support Teaching Assistant

 

27 hours per week.

Fixed Term (linked to specific child with medical needs)

39 week contract (term time plus one week)

Working weeks 45.05

 

Scale 4 18 – 21 Pro rata salary (£11,897 - £12,950)

A unique opportunity has arisen to join a passionate team of staff in a growing Multi Academy Trust.

 

We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic Health Support Teaching Assistant to join our happy, hardworking team at Grange Park.

Community Academies Trust is a successful, forward-thinking organisation which maintains high expectations of staff and students.

The Health Support Teaching Assistant will undertake work/health care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom.

Undertake delegated care for a child requiring enhanced clinical procedures for which you will be fully trained and deemed competent. This will include -

  • Children requiring enteral feeding
  • Children requiring oral, nasal-pharyngeal or tracheal suction
  • Children with tracheostomies
  • Children requiring ventilator support
