Due to Fleet and Workshops continued development we now have a vacancy for a Motor Vehicle Technicians with appropriate skills in MOT testing and/or HGV/LGV vehicle maintenance.

• To undertake the service, inspection, repair and maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment in accordance with legislative and health and safety requirements, planned inspection schedule, and agreed procedures and targets

You’ll need:
• To have extensive practical experience in fleet service, repair and maintenance including plant and large commercial vehicles.
• Tol have knowledge of the legislative requirements of legally maintaining a HGV fleet and ..
• You will have a flexible approach to work and an ability to adapt to a changing working environment to meet customer needs.

Coventry City Councils vehicle workshops is a modern, well equipped facility which maintains a large and diverse range of vehicles, plant and equipment. The successful applicant will be given an opportunity to develop and train in all aspects of the role, and whilst your experience is important for the role, you will gain valuable additional expertise in a number of manufacturers vehicles and specialist equipment.

Monday – Thursday 2.30pm – 11.00pm
Friday 11.00am – 4.00pm
